A worker's history should outlive the employer who holds it
WorkID is built by Snxwfairies Innovation Pvt. Ltd. for a workforce whose proof of work usually lives in somebody else's filing cabinet — and disappears when that business does.
The problem we started from
In India, most working people cannot prove where they have worked. A shop closes, a contractor moves on, a manager leaves — and with them goes the only record that somebody spent four years doing the job well. The worker is left describing their own history and hoping to be believed.
Employers have the mirror-image problem. They receive a résumé and no way to check it that does not involve chasing a phone number that may no longer answer.
What we built instead
An employment record belongs to two parties, so WorkID never lets one of them own it alone. An employer records a relationship; the worker confirms it or disagrees; both positions survive whatever happens next. Nothing is deleted, provenance is never collapsed into a single “truth” field, and the platform never concludes anything from silence.
That last point drives more of the design than anything else. A record nobody has reconfirmed is stale — a confidence signal, not a termination. Absence of an active record is never rendered as unemployment.
What we will not become
Not a blacklist. Not a background-check bureau that sells judgements about people. Not a place where an employer can pay to look better or a worker can pay to have criticism removed. Those are enforced in code and asserted by tests, not promised in a policy.
WorkID presents evidence. Deciding what the evidence means is a human's job, and it stays that way.
